It is with deep regret that the Board of the Spotswood Football Club announces the sad passing of Mitch Beattie on the 30^th December 2011, aged 34.

Mitch bravely battled an aggressive cancer with great spirit and an unyielding determination.

Mitch was a life member of the SFC, a past player, a junior coach, a tireless and willing volunteer and would bleed for the green and gold.

Rest In Peace Mitch.
